John Boynton
John Boynton is the Executive Vice President, Marketing for Rogers Communications Inc. and leads an integrated marketing organization that combines Rogers’s cable and wireless marketing groups including products, segments, customer base management, new product development and the Marcom and Brand group.
Mr. Boynton joined Rogers Wireless in March 2002 as Vice President, Consumer Marketing, responsible for revenues of the consumer wireless, paging & prepaid wireless businesses and Rogers Wireless convergence initiatives within the Rogers Group of Companies. In July 2005, he was promoted to SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Rogers Wireless, responsible for all areas of marketing for Wireless. This included acquisition, advertising, branding, market research, product management, pricing, customer base management and marketing analytics for both business and consumer marketing.
Prior to joining Rogers Wireless, Mr. Boynton was Executive Vice President of two successful start-ups and has worked in Canada, Europe and the United States.
Mr. Boynton holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
